So painting the entire organization by the actions f a few DB momemnt... Marchands at has gotten tired, plain and simple, he's become a detriment... Lucic, I really thought was turning a corner, and was playing t riht way and really well for a long time, until the last few months of the season, it all turned.

Other than that the org has some great and classy players and players that represent the game int he right way... Thornton, Marchand and Lucic doesn't paint the entire team, and outside those 3 there is a vast difference... and those who paint Chara in that mold are assinine to be honest

- MrBeanTown

Their coach is front and center on this, all the whining and accusing others of embellishment...

And Chara is another beast in itself. He also picks his spot...he'll bully the smaller players and fight the guy he knows he can manhandle. But watch all the fights he had against REAL opponents...he waits, then jumps on them and falls to the ice with them at the first chance.

This classic bully mentality might work in the regular season, but it's no longer effective in the post-season as teams are no longer backing down.

This is not to say the Bruins suck...they are an awesome team, built for the playoffs...but they should start playing like it and not try to intimidate the other team out of the building.

Chara is just old and uncoordinated. But his hissy fit was amusing, if somewhat justified. Anyone who thinks there are no classy guys like Bergeron on Boston are dumb but at the same time a guy like Iginla goes there and becomes an instadouche. I think the truth is somewhere in the middle, I think while it doesn't apply to every guy there is an overall team philosophy that favours d-bags and cheaters because agitation and intimidation is considered primary to playing hockey.

Iginla actually re-focused in time for games 6 and 7. He might have been the only one.

Yup because the majority of the tweets came from outside of Boston... Jesus, Im from canada so it doesn't really matter but it's just stop being a tool and generalizing when there is no need. Especially when it comes to a topic of race...

Sorry I see you are from California, nothing but honest and outstanding citizens there im sure... My apolgies

- MrBeanTown

Outside of Boston? Like a mile or two?? please, it wasn't people from Denver tweeting, or Lincoln, or StL, it was BOSTON and it's surrounding garbage...
And Cali is packed with nothing but honest and upstanding citizens as is every other populated piece of land (heavy sarc), with the excpetion of NB and the rest of Canada I suppose where all the pure people live... And you're right about one thing, you're from Canada, and you don't really matter.

If that statement, were true, than I highly doubt they are a team who wins the Pres Trophy and had as much success as they ave in the last few years.

Not sure, as well, how Iggy because a douche once in Boston?

- MrBeanTown

Because agitation and intimidation work in the regular season? I don't know. Maybe they're of equal importance which is still wrong. In any case it was clearly one of the factors that lost them the series.

I found Iginla different in Boston, more yappy and going after people in situations where you wonder what he's upset about. But that's just me.

Hahah ok big guy, I'm hurt by your words lol

I'm quite happy in Canada, though, thanks! And it was actually shown the tweets were from "ALL OVER'" not just "Boston and outlying areas"

Absolutely hit the nail on the head, Mr Stewart. This guy couldn't carry O'Reilly or Wensink's jock.

Lucic and Marchand are a disgrace to the B's uniform. Same goes for Chara. How a guy 6'9" gets knocked to the ice so easily is a mystery.

Code? That disappeared in the 90's.

I'll give you that one... I think if it wasn't MTL this wouldn't as much of a factor, its something about them that the Bruins sh!t to bed about... They can't stay composed... they were fine in the DET series, MTL is just in their heads... big time!

I still consider Lucic a tough guy, he is big, strong and mean when he plays to his ability. However, the historic 'Big Bad Bruins' that the organization was known and feared for are becoming the 'Big Whining Embelishing Crybabies' because of guys like Marchand, Lucic and even Chara lately with his diving and embelishment like this:

To me, the Bruins need Neely to step in and call them out. Also, to Julien, he is the frontman/center of these issues.

I'm not trying to generalize the entire organization unfairly by the actions of a few players. Of course there are players on the Boston Bruins who do play the game hard and clean. Patrice Bergeron, Johnny Boychuck, Carl Söderberg, etc. I grew up playing defense and Ray Bourque was one of the players I looked up to and tried to emulate. I was speaking more to how the team lost their minds in this series with the Canadiens... (well don't they really every time these two teams meet)? and to how the Bruins organization has become labeled as slow, dirty and hypocritical (rightly or not) because of repeated actions by a few, and for notably calling other teams/players for the same type of conduct. Just like how the Canadiens got labeled as divers because of a few players (Mike Ribeiro, Max Lapierre, Roman Hamrlik, PK Subban) who sold calls. That label has stuck (at least in Boston) despite the current roster relying less on power plays, and typically playing stand up hockey, 5 on 5.

Wow.... that's a little hard there Stewart... Fraud, no respek and a gutless puke? Trying to get some hits on your pathetic little blogs??

I don't agree with what Lucic did in the handshake line, cause that's not in the
heat of the game. But some people are making him out to be the most evil guy that ever played. Lighten the f**k up.

- Brandon

it's more about a series of events with Lucic that goes back to his first spear on Emelin in March--his antics on the ice, his comments in the media. the handshake was just the final nail in the coffin.
