Huh? What kind thing is that to say. That's the most classless sour grapes comment I ever heard. - Jeropotato
Agreed , that's just lame to say , the rangers deserved to win they played better than the Pens |

the blues have to get it right this time as they're built for a long playoff run now and anything less will be unacceptable - Flyfreaky
So who should the Blues go with in net? Allen and Smelliot? |

Should have left Letang walk and signed Stall. Good firing I think. He and Trotz in WAS would be a hilarious failure. |

Worse a failure than they already are? Was that a double negative? |

Scenarios according to perceived likelihood...
- Bylsma fired
- Bylsma & Shero fired
- Shero fired, but Bylsma retained
Even Pens fans are shocked by the move.

Pens fans have been saying that...but for the past few years it didn't seem like the Pens were focused on getting the personnel for the playoffs. Well last year I guess they were, but not this year. As an outsider looking in, it seemed like the Pens were more interested in marketing their 2 superstars than surrounding them with gritty playoff warriors. |

I think that was part of the problem. The organization kept trying to repeat what won them the Cup in '09. Other teams changed; they didn't. But yeah, it was obvious that what Shero was trying to build wasn't working. |

Funny, funny stuff happening.
There are as many as a dozen teams sending very strong signals that they want to make at least one major player moves this summer, probably in relation to the draft.
It could all fizzle out. But, those teams changing front offices further supports the idea of a big trade summer.
Vancouver will trade Kesler, Ottawa will trade Spezza, Carolina will trade a Staal and try to move Semin, Winnipeg will try to move Kane and Big Buff, San Jose has already served notice that Boyle and Havlat are gone and they will be open to move Thornton, Pittsburgh has said no to Orpik, obviously they would like to move Fleury and perhaps another big salary. Leafs want Phaneuf gone. Further changes are coming in Boston, Florida, Buffalo, Nashville, Pheonix, St Louis and Anahiem. Even Edmonton might finally decide that one or more of their untouchables is now available.

I don't think so. They are the least desperate of the contenders, lots of good, on the cusp prospects. Pittsburgh maybe? |
