There is a pretty good possibility that the fact you have no real interest in either team influenced your judgment on this one.

Nah he's right. Some of those games were flat for sure.

This is a winnable matchup. And everything is possible from here. 4 teams left, the Habs' chances are as good as anyone's

By the way, posted this in our thread but I found it interesting. Under the old playoff system it would have been Habs and Rangers in Round 1, 4v5.

I just meant intensity level of games like 2, 3, and 4 if I remember correctly. But that seems like ancient history.

and whatever because the Rangers won. didn't see the games they lost but i did hear that they looked horrendous. i think there will be more emotion in the Mtl-NYR series. it's impossible for there not to be given how amped up the Bell Centre will be.

they'll be favoured against NY i think, by just a bit. but if they get to the SCF, they'll be considerable underdogs.

They will face a goalie now
- Fredobbface

So will Montreal. Lets face it, Lindback is an AHL guy...tuuka had a bad series for the most part. Take nothing away from Price, but both teams I think are in the same boat. Very similar playing styles too. This series goes at least 6 games

Series against Rangers will be closer to the Tampa series than the Boston series.

Lots of skating. Lundy is a little better than Lindback though.

A peaking team is dangerous. Both teams peaking at exactly the same time. Should be interesting
