From what I saw. it looks more like it would be his knee more than his ankle if anything is hurt. - Elbows15
Yes - just hope he can play |

Looks like he tried to embellish and dropped, and with that speed he has it happens quick and violently. - AdamFrench

Ankle got clogged up on the post while he was getting pushed into the net by Kreider. Must have over-stretched it. - Jean_Perron
Look at his knee on the replay. That looks worse to me. Might be hyper extended. I have had that happen to me. Hurts like hell and will stiffen after a while. As long as there is no ligament damage, he will be able to go. |

Yeah, I can't believe he went down solely by the 'brute' force of a one-handed slash. |

I think because he stayed in the game until the end of the 2nd, he should be able too. |

I dare not think the roster changes they will have for game 2. Hopefully Galchenyuk plays instead of Bourque and that's it. |

Habs weren't playing well at all today. Its only 1 game. Why risk a further injury? I am sure he was in some discomfort. May as well get him going on treatment as soon as possible. |

What a poop game for the Habs this afternoon, if we have any more games like this then we can forget about making the Cup Final. Hopefully Price returns for Monday night. |

why would kreider, who just came back from injury when he wasn't supposed to be ready until next training camp (so he's probably still hurt), purposely put himself at risk of facking up his ankles/legs but sliding feet first violently into the post and price at his top speed (which is stupid fast if you couldn't tell)? additionally, kreider just isn't a dirty player.
i understand the need to rationalize it, but when you start looking at slowed down video of it, it's gonna look worse than it is. just watch it full speed and it looks pretty obvious that it was just an unintentional unfortunate event. |

Lot of whining and taunting in here last night…
I've seen the replay only twice but early impressions are emelin took out his back leg while swinging at the front one and he got spun around, causing his front leg to swing forward and he lands on his ass…. |

I just don't ever recall ever having my legs in front of me after a trip.
So to me, it really seems like a very accidentally on purpose thing where Kreider decided if he was wasn't going to get a good scoring chance on the play, he'd at least try to get Price off his game. Desharnais' comment after the game leads to me to believe that Habs locker room also doesn't believe it was very accidental, although that's rather biased too so... |
