oh! sorry. I though they were allowed to change the defense.
What was I thinking!!

ok, take out emelin and put in boulion. Good luck killing penalties. I find markov gets a free pass. He has never been able to elevate his game in the playoffs. Emelin does his job. What are you expecting him to do?

I'm expecting him to be able to make 1 good first pass. The rest of his game I'm ok with. Habs need his hits. But they also need him to be able to make a pass! Not move the puck like PK can, but at least make a (frank)in outlet pass.

Isn't markov your puck moving d-mn on that pairing? get the puck to him and let him do it. Emilin isn't out there to be a puck moving d-man

and that prevents him of being able to make a simple pass?
great...

time to start the bbq

and by the way, if he's a stay at home dman, which I have no problem with, where was he on the Kreider breakaway?

Ya, he had a bad game. Did anybody complain about him last round?

What's the word on Price. I'm hearing he's injured his ankle and could be done for the rest of the playoffs.

Came out flat in the first, played better in the 2nd but lacked concentration at the end to allow a couple of goals. At that point they were trailing by 3 goals. Lots of penalties in the third.

Hmm, it's really tough to predict who will be available where beyond the top12.

Potential fallers

Ivan Barbashev
Adrian Kempe
Kevin Fiala
Julius Honka
Nikita Scherbak

Should be there by our pick

Travis Sanheim
David Pastrnak
Vladislav Kamenev
Nikolay Goldobin
Connor Bleackley
Jakub Vrana

I'd be happy with any of those.

Guys I don't want with the 1st pick:

Roland Mckeown (low IQ)
Josh Ho-Sang (lots of flash but sticks on the perimeter)
Brendan Lemieux (I like him, but not for the 1st round)

Top12 should be(in no particular order)

Ekblad
Bennett
Reinhart
Ehlers
Draisatl
Nylander
Perlini
Ritchie
Virtanen
Fleury
Dal Colle

I like the Americans (Milano, Larkin, Tuch) but they'll be gone by our pick.

I wish

To be quite honest though, I hope we trade down with a team for 2 2nds.

Buffalo has the 31st and 39th.
Blues: 33rd and 51
Preds: 42 and 46th
Flames: 34 and 52
Isles: 35 and and 56
Coyotes: 43 and 57
