Rancourt sang before Game 6 of the World Series in 1975 when singer Kate Smith cancelled her appearance. Rancourt's ambition was to become an opera singer. The strength of his trained voice overcame the acoustic shortcomings of the old Boston Garden

That awful John Amirante is their regular guy. Sheesh he sucks.

They did have Christian Van Horn sing it for a game I attended at MSG this season. He was fabulous (opera singer). It would be great if they'd have him.

when i was a little kid my parents worried about my affection for the habs. always had a habs jersey, drew the logo, etc. i think it was because i was obsessed with canada since "that's where hockey comes from"

anyway that's never left me. always like the canadiENZ.

only boston rival i actually hate are the yankees.
