What drove me bonkers yesterday is that here in Canada, the Habs game was on CBC. So I'm sure CBC wanted the game on at night, you know......HNIC... as has been for the last what 50 years!!!!!! So what gives NBC the fukken right to put the game on at 1pm?

what's with you people? it is only one game and you could have put serious money on the canadiens not being ready emotionally after knocking out the bruins. this is still a young team experience-wise. they are not playoff seasoned like a chicago or l.a. they were there in body only saturday. blame nbc for being a bush league hockey network scheduling playoff games at 1, blame bergevin and therrien celebrating like they won the cup after game 7 wednesday night. blame kreider for taking out price. blame st.louis for being such a whiner that he whined his way to new york to be the habs killer he was in tampa.

it's only one game. win game 2 and all will be forgotten.

Not really the same thing...it took 4 guys to carry ovechkin off an to the locker room...Price played the rest if the 2nd period and was on the bench for the 3rd instead of getting treatment. It's a conspericy I tell ya!! Focus on a dirty play that wasn't dirty by a dirty player who isn't dirty..so that a nation doesn't focus on the team itself. It's actually a brilliant play by Terrian or whoever made the decision

i'm giving zero credit to therrien though. the media is choosing to write about kreider themselves. therrien played it down and doesn't wanna talk about the situation because he's not smart enough or a good enough coach to realize the tactic.

Well once the media up there focuses on the Kreider thing it's better for the Habs. Making him public enemy number 1 instead of the teams play after game 1 works in there favor. Sadly, if he doesn't play the sentiment will be the rags had no chance if Price wasn't hurt

The difference is the media is controlling it for him (Terrian) The NY media could careless about the rangers (for the most part)

Honestly I'm not trying to be a dyck here which I clearly am looked at right now lol...just saying it surprised me that he played the last part of the period and sat and watched the 3rd from the bench without getting whatever treatment right away. You can dress a 3rd goalie once the starter goes down from what I believe. You guys think im nuts which is fine lol. If he doesn't play game 2 I'll be very surprised..at the same time I'll be a lil giddy aswell

You often see a guy getting hurt, coming back and finishing the game, only to learn a day or two after that he's going to miss a few weeks.
