A month? Hmmm. I only did 2 weeks. Perhaps I double-clicked. Happens.

Series against Rangers will be closer to the Tampa series than the Boston series.

Lots of skating. Lundy is a little better than Lindback though.

Pavelec is a better goalie than Lindback

and whatever because the Rangers won. didn't see the games they lost but i did hear that they looked horrendous. i think there will be more emotion in the Mtl-NYR series. it's impossible for there not to be given how amped up the Bell Centre will be.

Literally the worst I've ever seen the Rangers play (mind you I'm only in my 20s but guys in there 40s said the same). After game 4 was the worst I ever felt about this team, ever. So yea, pretty (frank)ing horrible.

that PP looked like a tire fire last night.
- DoubleDown

agreed, they did. Looking at the stats, Rags PK is better than the Habs and Habs PP substantially better

they'll be favoured against NY i think, by just a bit. but if they get to the SCF, they'll be considerable underdogs.
- DoubleDown

And they'll be at their best, like for the Boston series. The Bruins expected to win, and the Habs wanted to win.

i definitely think a few of the Bs took Montreal way too lightly, especially after Game 5. it's weird, but looking back, Boston's dominance in that game might have left them a little bit overconfident. they were a different team in games 6-7 than they were in the first 5.

The X factor is the Bell centre. That place is nasty to play in. Home ice there beats ours by light years

yes it's nice to have home ice. but that said, these are teams who just won Game 7 on the road. clearly they can play on the road. but Montreal is a bit more intimidating than Pittsburgh.
