Once it went to overtime, you knew it would be Kane. You just knew.
Minnesota only had like 14 breakaways in regulation too - PhillySportsGuy

I would trade Lecavalier for the glass partition. Depending on it's cap hit. - PLindbergh31
Thank God Homer is not still in charge or the partition would get a 6 year extension with a full NTC/NMC |

You have to look it up.
Dump it, rattles off the boards funny right to Kane who has a slam dunk.
I was going nuts. - Giroux_Is_God
He did make a nice play. Most guys would have just shot right away. He made the deke to go around Bryz |

He never did. Talk about a team with no flaws. If Anaheim and Boston win tonight, I think theres no question the finals will be a rematch |

The 10 biggest Dbags in the NHL (no particular order)
James Neal
Michel Therrien
Sidney Crosby
Milan Lucic
John Tortorella
Gary Bettman
Dan Carcillo
Matt Cooke
Shawn Thorton
Pierre Maguire (yeah he's not technically in the league, but he is too big a douche to leave off the list!) - BiggE
Good list!
Crosby better not win the Hart Trophy. He embarrassed himself in these playoffs. I know it's a regular season award, but if that's the best the NHL has to offer my opinion of the NHL is in the poopter.
How many times did Michael Jordan win an MVP award, and then proceed to embarrass himself in the playoffs? Same thing for Wayne Gretzky.... |

I wonder if Patrice Bergeron is going to get mugged for 7 games if they Play the Rangers?
I guess it will be Vanek if its Montreal.
The Rangers would be considered a street gang and probably get prosecuted under RICO statutes if they operated in the real world.

I think he might be injured.
The Rangers are tough. They did the same thing to Giroux. They are a tough matchup for teams without great depth. Thats why I don't see them beating the Bruins if they play them. |

If the Rangers want to play boring defensive, mugging hockey against Boston, it will backfire. The Bruins will be happy to win four 1-0 games. And with Chara and Lucic in the lineup, they can take mugging to a whole new level. |

At least Giroux had 6 points in the series. He didn't play great, but he didn't embarrass himself at all. It's not easy dragging that anchor Hartnell around either. |

I thought playing Crosby and Malkin together so often was a big mistake. I understood it in the CBJ series because they were trying to get them both going.
It allowed the Rangers to focus more on one line. They didn't have to worry about anyone else.
The Bruins have the depth to give the Rangers trouble. Their third line is better than the Rangers third pairing. |

Rangers-Hawks or Habs-Hawks would be the most ideal from a revenue perspective... need more cap space! |

Yes, Boston has more depth. I think Montreal can beat the Rags as well. Lundqvist if I'm not mistaken rarely plays in Montreal because he struggles there mightily for whatever reason.
If the Pens fire Bylsma, and I'm the Flyers I would scoop him up in a heartbeat. |

I dont think they need or want Bylsma.
The Habs would give the Rangers trouble too. I don't think the Rangers are capable of winning the cup. The Metro was made up of some seriously flawed teams. They were the King of weak division. (no pun intended) |

Common now... if they had shot better in the reg season (like they are doing now) I think they would have won the division, and maybe challenged for the first seed. They have a pretty darned good team all around. |

No as a head coach. Hextall didn't hire Berube. Usually when a new GM is hired they get to pick the coach. This is somewhat of a different circumstance though as Hextall was assistant GM and may have had some input in hiring Berube.
Berube did a nice job turning the season around, but I'm not sold on him. I think he got outcoached by AV in the playoff series. |
