well what do you think the gameplan will/should be?
how does Montreal settle into the game and turn this into a real grinding affair?

- Gary_B.
i think if it's a fast-paced game like last night, Montreal loses.

#Rangers #Penguins fans - what did you think of the Game 6 officials? Looks like Pollock & Joannette will be back for Game 7 #NYR #PIT

@GlobeKPD your point? Series is tied stats are for losers. U write about a squirt with water. No mention in ur column about markovs spear?

Doesn't get much more hilarious than a guy who's twitter handle is "Lucic Crew" complaining about unpenalized spears to the nuts.

i think in those fast-paced games, the crowd energy plays a part and is a real advantage for the home team. i'm not sure Montreal would be able to keep up for 60 minutes on the road. grinding games tend to favour the road team/underdog.

It doesn't.

I just hope whoever calls the game doesn't try so hard to not be a factor that they influence the game by trying so hard to not be a factor. Call the plays. These two teams should never, ever play a game where there is only two minor penalties called. Too much diving, tackling, interference, and Claude Julien for that to be a realistic scenario.

Beaulieu did great last night.

Not anything fancy, kept his game simple.

You are right about the first part...but the second part, grinding games favor the Bruins.

I hope Therrien doesn't go head into game 7 with a "this is just another game" mentality (which by the way was a staple of the Jacques Martin Coaching Era...both in Ottawa and Montreal)... He and the player have to know that they'll have to be even BETTER than they were in game 6...

Did the habs finally figure that if you put pressure on the other teams D, they'll cough up the puck too? They sure did that last night, here's hoping they don't forget that in game 7.

Lucic has made that as much a trademark as the Marchand "I didn't see you there" sticky-out elbow on the way to the bench.

Well I think this series the bigger difference is that they are no longer that small and they hit back.

I am also thoroughly enjoying Dale Weise's mockery of Lucic just about every chance he gets.
