That's one thing I benefit from living in Michigan right now. At least when the Leafs are terrible, I don't have to hear about it in the media constantly.

Not as far as business success....but really, I don't cheer on the owners in the hopes they make a profit, I cheer on the team to win championships and so do you.

The guy was referring to the on ice product, championship success, when he called them an embarrassment. Quit trying to validate your defense with something entirely unrelated. It's weak, and you are grasping for positives.

4. James Reimer sucked.Trade talk begins on TSN.
5. The Leafs missed the playoffs (this was a major deal when they lost the game that mathematically eliminated them). This is discussed for 1 hour after the game on TSN.
6. Carlyle was on the Hot Seat. This was discussed several times on TSN.
7. Shanahan was rumoured to be hired as pres. This was discussed and investigated for days on TSN.
