I'm totally (frank)ing shocked that Dreger would say something like this.

What's the going rate for a 3-4 guy? In my opinion that's what he is. One tier below guys like Chara or Weber.

Don't really know why the Jets would have too much interest in Phaneuf. We have a lot of defensive depth right now: Toby, Bogo, Stuart, Trouba, Ellerby, Pardy, Postma, Redmond, Clitsome, Morrissery in the pipes and not to mention Kulda overseas might deserve a look. True most of them are young guys, but most have looked good and trading for Phanuef would only stifle their development by taking away a roster spot.

Trouba looks to be a real good one.
Bogo....injury prone and starting to look like a bit of a bust.
Toby....soft.
Morrisey is small and a few years away.
Stuart is better suited to be a 5-6 guy.

You can feel how you want about him just like Bergeron isn't a very good first line center. Doesn't make it true... and i didn't say he was a good captain or leader I don't think he is again still top 20-30. When Bogo was in the line up was he not a difference maker? Any game i seen him play in i was impressed.

Any team that signs Vinny to the contract the Flyers did should have no problem paying Dion

He only makes 4.5 mill. I don't see the issue. He was brought in to play with Giroux but he didn't make the transition from C to LW very well. They are two totally different positions. I have no issue with the contract, just with that he doesn't fit well on the team that is stacked with Centermen.

Ok thanks I read the Wings did not see sharks id say there is little to no chance they want spezza they have to many Centers as is and don't see a Thorton for Spezza swap making any sense.
