Good plan. It is a morale boost.

Honestly , I don't think we can or should trade anyone . We will get raked in any trade for #3 in the long term, Sam's potential 50 points is more than any return we get will get, Yak will eventually be a solid scorer and we won't be making the playoffs next year.
Nothing Mac T can do except sell his ass at free agency. As much as we would all like him to show his balls with a home run blockbuster trade it probably isn't there.

I was just thinking.....imagine if Whitney never got hurt and Cam Barker actually bounced back and realized most his draft potential as an Oiler......

Well Belov wasn't that bad. Just didn't want to play the role he's going to get in the NHL - bottom pairing guy. Bottom pairing is so far from our problems anyway I'd let Larsen/Fedun/Klefbom fight over it.
