I know I probably missed this but why isn't Hall, Eberle, Duchene, Stamkos, RNH, Schultz, Weber, Spezza, Phaneuf, Kane, Tavares, Pietralagelo, Bouwmeister... not playing?

Hall, Nuge and Eberle have a lot to learn yet same with Jultz... Those 4 should have been at this tourney... I know they are not obligated- but unless they are injured- maybe they should take things like this in - regardless its remains a great way to learn, develop and mature as a player - and Canadian... I am disappointed... Spezza and Phaneuf have their best years behind them anyway- so who really gives a (frank) but the young players should go...

There was this guy in here once called J-lo that said he was a big deal, think it may have actually been CEO, and mad 7 figures a year and ran board meetings. If you are gonna talk up your personal life, you have to set the bar higher than just VP

Or maybe, just maybe they are more concerned with their health and how that effects their personal lives, and NHL teams. Plus it was an Olympic year, players tend to give less than 2 sh!ts about worlds in those years.

They (Hall, Eberle, and Schultz) went last year and all have experience at the international level. It's not like this one will be much different from past ones.

Yeah, I might watch that. I imagine he will be top 6 in ice time so we should get to see a lot of him.

Edit: As Jero said, stacked but with Draisatl's points, I would think there is room for a guy like him in top 6.

You must be forgetting about the stretch after Cujo signed there. We had Essensa. Schtalenkov , Passmore and a host of other pathetic Losers until Salo came to town. Even then he wasn't as good as Cujo or later Belfour.
