I'd take that deal in a heart beat. I think gagner would do good in chi town. I don't think you get a 1st in any deal for gagner. But if we did, we'd be dumb not to take it. Itd give us a universal trade chip that most teams would have some interest in.

Yes but I look at it more from a cost perspective and want he could add to the team, size on the left side. I think he's gonna break out soon. He'd be cheaper than a guy like Ladd (who I'd much rather add).

and you don't think minny sees that? kid has 145 nhl games and 10 playoff games. edm needs more experienced quality nhl players in the top nine, not another young kid. i'd look into free agency before i throw any high quality asset at nino.

I know Minnie sees that but they have to resign coyle, granlund, keumpfer, brodin, zucker this year and next year and rumoured to want vanek who also plays left wing. I didn't analyze their cap in detail so maybe they make it work.

Who would you go for in ufa that is obtainable? Kulemin is one option maybe.
