I heard Linden said he could swear he was interviewing Milbury or Healy

I thought of exactly that.

Minny may be on the list but I don't know how you turn down a chance to play with Suter and Parise.

Minny seems like a solid place to play hockey. They're as hockey crazed as canadians

If they made that trade and got Vanek as reporting seems to lean to.

Parise Kesler Vanek
Moulsen Koivu Pomminville
Cooke Coyle Hansen
Villeux Brodziak Rupp

Sutter Spurgeon
Edler Dumba
Stoner Scandell

Bryz.

Solid line up

Do they have enough cap space? I don't see Vanek getting less then 7.5 as a UFAand moulson gets 6

But agreed, great line up

They have 17 mil in space. There would need to be tweaking.

Buy out Ballard and Backstrom they will be ok

Yeah. Hell I'd do that deal if the insisted on keeping brodin (obviously they would) and gave us Dumba

if Canucks were getting Ganlund Niño a first and Brodin I would even keep a mil for the next three years for Kesler and for Edler. We can fit under the cap easily then.

Niño Ganlund Kassian would be a decent second line.

Minnesota has phenomenal support for hockey - starting from the high-school level.

Edit: pretty easy to get into it when you have 10,000 frozen lakes to choose from

Agreed, as per our earlier discussions, I think there is definitely some untapped offensive potential there (defensive skills and hard work are a given). All he needs is the right situation and some PP ice-time (and not just the second tier 20-30 seconds worth he occasionally gets currently)

Don't you know, AV is merely toying with the opposition, using his customary ever -changing in-game strategies

His play in these playoffs makes me think I would be open to him as part of a Kesler deal, as long as it was more than just him and a pick comig back our way.
