I just seem to be one of the few people who thinks the team can upgrade without trading Brayden Schenn. I really think trading him now would be selling very low on him.

I'll say it again:

One of the most frustrating things about this series for me, was the amount of shots (especially during powerplays) that were blocked by the shins of Rangers players and redirected out of the zone, or taken away by another Rangers player.

Against these teams that heavily block shots, such as the Rangers this series, SHOOT HIGH. You don't even have to aim for the net. If a player is going to kneel down and block everything with the shins, aim high, catch one in the face/head/ear and that should get them to think-twice about trying to block EVERY (frank)ING SHOT that the Flyers attempt.

or, wait for the player to slide out of the way, like on the wild's game tying goal late late in regulation, instead of waiting to shoot until the playe is directly in your lane. or pivot/angle away from the player if he's down and not sliding. either way, they did a terrible job of getting pucks through. just too slow moving the puck/making decisions.

They can, to an extent. But he's probably our best tradeable asset.

No because waiting for the player to slide gets Lundqvist set in net. The flyers needed to one time the puck with quick passing and get off HARD shots so if the player managed to get there in time it hurt like hell. The problem was hesitation due to a few shots getting blocked. They were scared to take a one time blast.
