It's a shame they had to play the Kings in the first round. I predicted it would go 7 games and the Kings would win. I didnt think it would happen like that.

We have a team full of KIDS. I am sorry that I don't want them to trade key parts and stay the course. I really think Schenn will develop into something in a few years. The main point of that is Schenn is still trying to find his game as a 22 year old KID. He still managed to score 20 goals in doing so. In a few years I think he will be a star second line center.

He is an RFA. He is going to get about 1.5 to 2mil in a 2 year bridge deal the same as couturier.

That said we could probably re-sign him on a bridge deal which would make both sides happy. The player would actually see more of the money and our cap hit will probably not adjust very much.

His cap hit will probably decrease, to be honest. He's only owed a 10% increase in a tendered offer, which is $990K. So I don't think he'll be asking for more than $2.25M.
