Hartnell isn't a dirty player. He's just a pain in the ass. I don't remember him ever getting suspended as a member of the Flyers.

Exactly.

The reason the series is tied is because of the PP and the up and down goaltending. Lundqvist has been consistently good, but hasn't stolen a game. Mason/Emery have been either average or spectacular.

The Flyers need Mason to be spectacular one more time. If he's average, they have no shot.

I think the poster has a legitimate point. The Rangers aren't playing like a quality offensive team. If the Flyers had given a lot of the quality chances to other teams that they've given the Rangers. This Series would've long been over. The Rangers have not finished well at all in this series.

Only the refs can reverse this trend.

True, I agree 100% with Paul Stewart on this one. When a player dives or clearly embellishes, that player should receive the ONLY penalty on the play. And, if he does it a 2nd time in the same game, a misconduct should be tacked on. That would quickly put a stop to this BS

that was andrew alberts and that suspension was ridiculous. guy fell to his knees and hartnell tried to let up. suspension by result because alberts was concussed.

Yes I do enjoy it ! I even enjoy rooting for the relevant teams infact I root for 29 teams in the NHL , all expect the Flyers

All is a signing bonus is, is part of a player's NHL salary paid up front. It is not in addition to his regular salary. Lecavalier is being paid 6M from the Flyers this year. Not 10M.

I hate the Vinny signing as much as anyone, but even I wouldn't trade him straight up for Clarkson, even if the Leafs evened out the cap hits.

With the chances they've gotten in this series, they should have a lot more. If the Flyers would give the same chances to Boston, it would be a 4 game sweep. Even with Mason standing on his head.
