This has been brewing in me this whole series... After watching this complete no show for 7 games, we need to go get a true number 1 dman. I know some of these guys are young but watching read, coots, Hartnell, bshenn, not show up for 7 playoff games makes me sick! I don't want to hear about potential. This series was disgusting. Outside of g, checky, simmer and mason I could care less who they have to trade to get a dman. |

I liked the job Holmgren did early on, but it would be refreshing to get someone new in there with some fresh ideas ....maybe we'll get lucky and Vinny will want out, considering he couldn't beat out a guy who was parked in the AHL all year when it mattered. - landros 2
Yes someone new that has never ever been involved with the Flyers.

That is my thought too. I think it will turn out he was pretty banged up with the back thing. I hope that was the reason. I cant take 4 more years of that. - MBFlyerfan
I really hope to find out Giroux needs surgery on a muscle in the leg or something. At least then i'll feel better about this series.
If you can't get awesome defenseman, then you better load up big time up front. I'd rather not keep getting 3/4 dmen and paying them a ton. |

Perhaps building a larger part of your team with inconsistent players, and giving out contracts based on their hot streaks isn't a good strategy year after year.

Vinny played less than 9 minutes tonight. Should be interesting next year. - feelingkettle
perhaps its all an elaborate plan to get him to demand a trade.
in that case, send him to florida. they need to hit the cap floor anyway.
get it done hexy! |

He looked real strong. He can be a solid piece of our defense for many years to come. His speed has definitely improved this season, too. |

Yet he lead the team in points.
My issue isn't with him when their are so many other black holes on this team..
1. Hartnell , Couturier, Raffl, VL, Rinaldo, Hall did nothing at all.
2. Streit and L. Schenn were the only d that played worth anything this series. - opeth_pa
Honestly, you can't be this blind? He had 3 points in 1 game. 1 being an empty netter. 2 points in the first 4. 0 points in game 7.
He had a bad series. Accept it and move on. |

He did good. I thought he had a pretty rough games 1 and 2 but for a bottom pairing guy he did well.
Either way, you cant be paying your bottom pairing guys so much money. |
