Better team won......disappointed , but this team has too, too many weak links....not sure if they are rebuilding ? Reloading ? Tinkering ? I actually think a 1st round loss to the Rangers is easier to deal with than a 2nd round loss to the Pens would be. Pen fans are insufferable (well, some are cool).

The rangers are just better. The flyers have a real goalie. They missed the playoffs last year, made the playoffs this year. Homer HAS to make some tough decisions.

What was encouraging about the season? Going 1-7? Getting a playoff spot and then losing home ice advantage to the team that out classed them 6/7 games. The same team that relied on their goalies to even make this a 7 game series?

Without a lot of time to reflect, the most important thing we discovered this year was we have a goalie. I'm not entirely sure what we found out about some of these other players. No one was that good when the games really mattered. All outplayed by Jason Akeson. The hell?
