I've gone to Eagles games up at the Meadowlands and mostly have been left alone, but I've had friends who had beer dumped on them or had things thrown at them.

It's stupid and nothing I would do, but it happens and I'm sure alcohol and a healthy lack of self-control has a lot to do with it.

Not even discretion. Use common sense. When on the road: You are outnumbered; beer muscles are in full effect; and the difference between a win and loss is a wide range of aggression. It's not worth it, unless you enjoy getting into fights with low odds. I'm still young, but I wouldn't take my future kids to a Flyers/Eagles game unless we were sitting in a section that is less likely to breed that sort of behavior. And I don't think I'd ever bring them to an opposing stadium. Sad but true.

Dont worry guys, you'll win tonight. Based purely on the idiotic passing, lackluster puck movement, terrible turnovers, and horrible puck shooting accuracy. I've never seen a team shoot itself in the foot more than the Rangers have this series. I mean, out of 18 periods of play, PHilly's probably outplayed the Rangers in 4 periods...maybe? Our top players inability to convert their chances is disgusting. Our 0-20 powerplay is just beyond words. Our Forwards are carrying play, but making the worst final plays to finish. Flyers, just sit back and wait for us to do stupid things, you'll get plenty of breakaways and more.

The reason the series is tied is because of the PP and the up and down goaltending. Lundqvist has been consistently good, but hasn't stolen a game. Mason/Emery have been either average or spectacular.

The Flyers need Mason to be spectacular one more time. If he's average, they have no shot.

Exactly! My family is STH so we know a lot of the people in our row, but the 2 seats behind me are never the same people. At a Penguins game last year, a few fans in my row started talking smack to them and getting in their faces because they accused them of cheering when a Flyer got hurt (which they did not do). I had to step in and defend the Penguins fans. I didn't know whether to be proud or disappointed in myself

Edit: These 2 Penguins fans sat there all game, stood up and cheered when the Pens scored, and otherwise kept to themselves. I did hear them ripping on the Penguins to each other quite a bit, but never once did they act out of line.

Like pretty much any game 7, it will come down to goaltending, who makes the fewest mistakes and who wants it more. I have no doubt that Mason can play just as well as Lundqvist and that the Flyers will want this game badly. It's the playing smart part that worries me some.

However, I picked the Flyers to win this series and I'm staying with my pick. They will make us all sweat tonight, but I'm picking the Flyers 3-2 in OT, with Matt Read scoring the GWG.
