To be honest, their top line has been great this whole series. They've dominated the Flyers in 5v5 play. I really want to see angry Coburn tonight. They need him to step up and play a good game.

I saw a hint of this last night

His first year as a flyer he was suspended for a few games. I think it was kind of iffy as the guy he hit fell to his knees right before impact so hartnell smashed his head.

speaking of embellishment....did gus hit on dorsett actually make contact with his face? I think clement's comments were said after that replay where it looked like the stick missed him; the ranger's thread folk are saying it clearly hit him in the face....was there a different angle on that play I didn't see?

it did hit him, but it was more of a graze. it certainly didn't warrant the reaction by Dorsett, which is what caught the ref's eye. Was it a penalty? yes. Would the ref have called it if it Dorsett didn't whiplash like he'd been hit directly in the face with a medicine ball? I doubt it.

It should be an automatic 1 game suspension if a guy fakes being hit with a high stick when the camera clearly shows it didn't touch him.

Its a necessary evil. The Rangers have really been going after Giroux. He wasn't flopping early in the series then began to do it in order to get the calls.

If I were Giroux, I would keep doing it. The refs reinforce the flopping by not calling legit penalties unless the player flops.
