...I was going off this guy's twitter account. He states obvious poop as jokes....so rather than playing with the "Godzilla putting a city back together when rewound" I was stating the obvious as BoringJakeGardiner.

So the weather outside is nice.

what was Nonis supposed to do at the deadline with no cap space, limited tradeable assets and a team that was obviously more than a player or two away from being a playoff threat? criticizing him for not making any moves at the deadline is terribly shortsighted. however criticizing him for making an offer for Vanek is warranted.

Not making any move at deadline was one of Nonis best moves (non-moves) He saw the mess unfolding. What should he have moved a 1st rd pick for a vet and then we'd be sitting ehre out of playoffs and no 8th pick in the draft? I was glad he didn't pull the trigger on a dumb move unless he could have unloaded some salary which we know was impossible

How come when you make a trade you don't swap cap space? No one was looking for God to come back in the trade. Just a change in style and approach.

Sometimes you make a move for the good of your team. Not every move has to be a blockbuster but change was warranted and should have been executed. Nonis is at fault here. It was painfully obvious that we lacked defensive help.
