Probably thought he would be crap because he made mistakes like every young player does. Oh well. glad he isn't our GM

Im not comparing him. Im just saying young defensemen make mistakes. Bad mistakes. You just have a little grudge on him because of it.

IMO we've got a good core in Kessel, JVR, Bozak, Phaneuf, Rielly and Bernier. Build a solid hard to play against line 2. A rough and tumble 3. Fourth line full of real energy. Not Ashton or D'Amigo energy but players like the player Ross should have been.

On defense we need to get way more physical. Win puck battles and have the opposition worried about playing in front.

I like Gardiner, but for some reason he just totally reminds me of Thomas Kaberle. need to use him as a trade piece while his value isnt bad

He's twenty effen three. He makes 12 year old mistakes. It's about hockey IQ. You can't teach that it's a natural instinct. He doesn't have any. The 19 year old Rielly is ten times smarter I his hockey decisions. It doesn't take twenty years FFs.

Well every team goes through it. Chicago went through it for 10 years and everyone forgot about that now.

alot of our prospects should be given a chance. There is no need to spend money this summer or resign players unless something really good comes to our table. Like an Orpiks or a Stastny, Willie Mitchell wouldnt be bad for cheap.
