I don't whine. I state facts about a disgusting fanbase and franchise. Bunch of arrogant scumbags who are racist and have language restraints on their coaches. It's pathetic. You believe in a certain style and a certain way that couldn't be more opposite than the Bruins

There should be zero afternoon playoff games. Ever. Regardless of who's playing. It's a disgrace.

Afternoon games seemed to be a very American thing in all sports.

Eric, your thoughts on the NHL obviously screwing Montreal with this afternoon stuff? Montreal is not used to playing afternoon games and Boston is. i think this is just another typical example of the NHL pandering to the Bruins. sickening.

I know why you're angry:

#habs were 0-2 in 1pm games. 0-2 in 5pm games. 0-0 in 3pm gms. #bruins 8-2 in 1pm gms, 3-1 at 12:30, 1-0 at 2pm, 2-1 at 3pm, 1-0 at 5pm

I'm more annoyed at the fact that, again, there is not a Saturday night game for the only Canadian team in the playoffs. Once again, the NHL raises it's middle finger to its most passionate fan base. (Canadians in General, not just Montrealers) Saturday night hockey is much more an institution in Canada than Sunday afternoon games. Hell, one Saturday night game on CBC likely draws as many viewers as all the Sunday NBC games combined.

Afternoons aren't a huge problem, but in the playoffs, when the stakes are high and viewership is at a premium, why would you televise a game when a lot of people won't watch it? I guarantee you that little Julie won't have dance class at 7pm on a Sunday, and Billy's tee-ball practice will be over before dinner.

well if i'm the CBC, i'm not sure i want the only Canadian team playing Saturday night. CBC will draw on Saturday night regardless.

True enough, but let's face it, the chances of Les Glorieux making it to the SCF aren't that good. I'd love to see ONE Habs game on a Saturday night. Just sayin'.
