They'll get better matchups at home, or force Chara into playing 35+ minutes. Either way, they should face lesser D.

They should've traded for Orr to wear down Chara.

Markov also looked...shall we say....tired?
- hscesq

Timing was off for both of them

Hopefully, 4+ periods of playoff hockey gets them back into sync.

FFS. This is the kind of player he is. He seems disinterested, looks like he's floating and doesn't care. I don't know if he cares or not - I have to assume he does, but I don't know, and neither does anybody else. But I do know that at any given moment, him and player #67 could explode for 5 goals. Someone said it last night as well - they are playing against the other team's top DMen every game. That the third line is scoring is a huge advantage, because it may very well open things up for the top two lines as well.

Bottom line - relax about Vanek and Patch.

Ooof. Tough night for him (again)

Markov wasn't stellar.

Emelin still ended with like 6+ hits and 5+ block shots.

But yes.... terrrrrible

I think they'll be fine, but gotta give credit to the Bruins 1st line.... they really are hard to stop.

Guys, I changed my mind. Vanek is terrible, disinterested and should be castrated. I was wrong, all of you were right.

I suppose it could have been rust related.

Also - is Prust really slow, or is it just me?

yeah, didn't think he was that bad...he needs to stop chasing after Lucic though. It's only going to end badly for him.

At least he doesn't look scared one bit.

This was a very surreal game to watch, there wasn't an inch of space out there. This current incarnation might be the strongest Montreal has been since the '93 team -- or at least I am reminded so far this postseason of that team (Gallagher=DiPietro, Vanek=Bellows, Briere=Savard, Bourque=Leclair and PK starring as Eric Desjardins). I think Boston is in trouble. Also Price=Roy

He's slow.

And mostly non-effective.

Didn't notice him being slower than usual... still played pretty well yesterday.

But he's obviously still injured as he seems in pain every time he hits someone/gets hit.

yeah, and it seems that every body check he receives ends with "oh, et Prust retourne péniblement au banc des siens"

I didn't notice this. I saw Lucic chasing Emelin, and Subban chasing Lucic.

Yeah.... he hasn't played for a while and it shows.

I'm sure Bournival will be back in the lineup eventually.
