They managed to win one in Boston. The Bruins are a different team when they play in the Bell Center, they aren't as physical.
Habs will need to play better though, they really looked lost out there. - stinger67

yes it was very scary. agree that they won't get away with it but i also think they will close that possession gap a bit. guys like Chara and Bergeron was in the 70% range. that's (frank)ed up. - Gary_B.
I know he's big and strong...but you still have to go in and hit Chara... I think I only saw 3 guys hit him...Moen, Weise and Desharnais... Pacioretty actually went out of his way to NOT hit him...
They are respecting him too much...yeah he's good, the best D in the league...but he's not Lidstrom...you can pressure him, and when you do he'll turn the puck over...sure you'll get a crosscheck or other types of cheap shot in the process, but sometimes that's what it takes... |

i know everyone's crapping on Vanek but i thought Pacioretty was just as disappointing last night. DD was busting his ass and getting the crap knocked out of him. |

One thing is to cut down on the turnover along the boards... the Bruins are very aggressive and disciplined along the boards, they don't fall for the one-step in but dropping the puck backwards when you're up against the boards...so it's up to the hab players to STOP TRYING IT ALL THE TIME in the offensive zone. That alone will cut the turnovers in half.

You would think seeing DD try to win a puck battle against Chara in the corner would force his wingers to play their balls off. |

Not sure about that. I think people are more disappointed that a #1,2 center isnt a point machine like Crosby, Stamkos etc, but he is a solid C for a decent price tag. |
