I don't think it was their worst team effort I think they were ducking and jiving, (frank)ing D holding on to it etc. back passes to no one.. Bs are a gauntlet. Habs stole that one.

That's what I mean with the worst team effort line. There was no cohesion, gave up too many opportunities from the slot and turned the puck over like it was kryptonite. Definitely showed that they hadn't played meaningful hockey in 9 days.

56 hits, not sure they can up that. They can however hit the net more often.

LA put 62 up on a bigger stronger Sharks team (relative to Habs)... in a losing effort, but I think game 2 will be ugly. Also, there are hits and then there are stretchers on call, bruised and bloody games.

meh, he was awesome and when he wasn't he got bailed but you cant trade chances at a rate of 7 or 8 to 1 every night. D has to tighten up and just dump it instead of the no look drop back.

Yup DD paid the price on many occasions, he's giving up more than a feet against Chara and knows he'll get crushed, but still goes in there

I know it's the result that counts and I am still hard from that goal but I expect a much different Montreal team come Saturday.
