i will probably bet rangers. I hope philly wins, you guys have been an underdog story all year. I like the rangers but am more a flyers fan. Again, there is a hatred (i'm old school and remember the 99, 03 and 04 playoff series) but at the end of the day i'd rather see a good hockey city like philly over carolina or florida. Again i thought philly was going on a sick run but game 7 in NY is tough. I thought you guys would take it in 6. Mason being hurt did NOT help at all.

2004 was actually my first playoff hockey. I was 10 haha. I agree about having good hockey cities in the playoffs. It makes it more interesting. Im okay with the California teams though because they are so dominant.

Mason being hurt definitely set us back. I think if we had a healthy mason and were seeded above the Rangers for home ice advantage we would win in 6. In my bracket I had this one going in 7 to the Flyers (if I had to really bet I would probably choose the rangers)

Philly fans sure are passionate. You probably could get away with it as long as its not a JVR jersey and you dont act like an bumhole. If you sit up at the top though crowds do get rowdier.

He got the winner but that was pure luck. The odds of getting the puck after coming out of the box is extremely low. Flyers should have won 5-0. Thy stopped skating and gave NY some life. Hartnell is the worst when it comes to this.

My uncle wore his NYI jersey to a Flyers game and he was fine, it was the year Flyers sucked!

I liked how the Flyers played but they relied to heavily on Mason. That 2-1 when Rangers where on PP, that goes in the net 9 times out of 10, same with the one timer by Haglin. There were so many huge saves Mason made but a lot of times those go in on the best goalies. Flyers have to play like they did in 2nd period all game. 3rd period was the worst they played in Game 6
