Makes me feel special.
I know that the Slug jerseys probably weren't hated as much, but I liked those too. |

There are some things to like about it, I think the concept is a cool idea of gold in the front blue in the back but I dont like the two toned gold and I hate the gray numbers |

Are you going to like it as much when he actually is drafted by someone else? |

Besides he hasn't done squat since 06'. We're talking about the 14' season coming up. That's a long time ago now. If these last 2 trade deadlines taught us anything, get younger and get winners. - Buffalo-Sabres
Like this guy?
yea i effing did it. |

If Eric Staal gets moved, it's going to be at next year's trade deadline. |

Jordan on the third line in Pittsburg good.Jordan In Buffalo average and overated. - buffalo 1
Out him with Gus on a wing would be a very good shut down line |

Eric Stall is consistent as you can be.
.89 PPG during his career.
When is the last time the Sabres had a true number 1 center that scored like that? - ImThatGuy
Fun fact.
Staal has missed 17 games total in his NHL career. |

He has averaged 70 points or more in every single season except this season. In the lockout shortened season he was on page for over 90 pts in an 82 game season. I wouldn't say he hasn't done squat, he isn't a guy to overpay for though - Stripes77
He had 31 points in 81gp his rookie year too. |

I was using the he hasnt done anything since 2006 debate. Even counting his rookie season he still averages over 70 pts per 82 games played |

damn, that's a good question. i'd be scared to give up TOO much, cuz he still hasn't played a game in the NHL, but at the same time, have a feeling he's gonna be real good.
i honestly don't know. i know who i owuldn't move for him, and that is (zibby, lazar, turris, ryan, karlsson, lehner, ceci)
so i guess it would depend on what buffalo would want.......prospects, picks, or younger guys who can play now.
puempel, prince, wiercioch, stone, hoffman, smith, pageau, etc - sensarmy_11
Wrong. He played 34. Not sure how you messed that up. And based on that list of who you'd give up, hell no. You can't have him. |

He avgs 80.23gp and 71.78 points per year based on he has missed 17 games in his career. |

exactly so I wouldnt say he hasn't done squat. He would be the Sabres best player but I don't think now is the time to go after a player like him |

Looking up on bleacherreport talking about buffalo's best trades.. At Number 2 they have the lafontaine trade.. Pat LaFontaine was traded from the New York Islanders along with Randy Hillier and Randy Wood to the Sabres in exchange for Pierre Turgeon, Benoit Hogue, Uwe Krupp and Dave McLlwain. Wood was a pretty good pk guy 20 or less goals. Lafontaine was great in his time in buffalo. Hillier had one year in buffalo played 23 games... Now Turgeon we all know he went on to have a great long long career. Benoit hogue went on to wear the C for the NYI scored 30 plus goals 3 years in a row for the NYI. Uwe Krupp 3 years with the NYI reached 30 plus points 2 times being hurt in his 3ed season was a guy that played vs teams top lines his entire career till he got hurt later in his career..Dave mcliwain was a bust. On same level of worth as Hillier. Now looking back to me it was a really bad. Buffalo dealt a elite center a first line winger and a number 2 dmen, for a elite center and a 3 line winger and a goon dmen... Just makes me wonder how good buffalo could have been if this trade never went down. |

If this was 2015 and we already drafted Reinhart or Bennett and about to draft McDavid or Eichel I would be okay going after him but it doesnt make sense to go after him now - Stripes77
This , Let's build some top notch assets before we make any major moves.

I've always said we lost that trade.
That said Sneaky Pete wanted out and the Islanders won that same thing we have since that trade.

Krupp a goon D-man? He had one season where he took a ton of penalites but other than that he had a really good career. - Stripes77
