I have, and his attitude on the ice wasn't the issue. It was his attitude away from the rink that was the issue.

I'm not gonna knock on him for his work ethic (he made it the NHL after all) but I can say he wasn't as motivated as someone like Girgensons as an example. I know he really enjoyed himself away from the rink and thats where he got his negative persona from

IMHO, it would cost at least Myers and a #1 for Eric Staal and where the Sabres are right now, that deal makes no sense.

Besides he hasn't done squat since 06'. We're talking about the 14' season coming up. That's a long time ago now. If these last 2 trade deadlines taught us anything, get younger and get winners.

I meant as far as leading the team somewhere. At no point since 06' has it been like "Oh no, here come the Carolina Hurricanes."

Even if it wasn't widespread knowledge that Buffalo is in desperate need of scoring, and that their "strength" organizationally is in defense right now, they would need to add more to get a player like Skinner for a player like Ehrhoff.

If this was 2015 and we already drafted Reinhart or Bennett and about to draft McDavid or Eichel I would be okay going after him but it doesnt make sense to go after him now
