71.37 gp and 40.24 points is what you get from him on an avg year to year.

If one feels the intangibles he brings is worth the 6+ mil at 6/7 years he will get is worth it so be it.

IMO those totals are a guy that plays on the 3rd line with top pp and pk mins. AKA a guy that makes on the high scale 3-4 mil per.


I would pass on him, matter of fact I wouldn't even call his agent. Those avgs will only get worse as time goes on.

Since Olli became a full time NHL player(meaning no AHL time spent during a season) he has missed 17 games. That's 17 games in 14 seasons.

You are only adding 39 more goals, the 2nd lowest scoring team in the NHL

Neuvirth and Reimer are not going to make up THAT much of a difference

Even if Hodgson Ennis Stafford and Girgensons improve and score 3 more goals each that means the Sabres score 51 more goals 7th lowest.

They are still gonna be bad
