We lost our way a bit in the confidence department

And when it came time to man up we were shut out, and then sent home

We talk of organizations arrogance/whining/culture of other organizations, now it's time to take a look in the mirror

Thornon and the waterbottle, Lucic in the handshake line, coach taking a dig at Therrien about when he took a time out reminded me of Luongo saying that's an easy save for him to tweak Tim Thomas 3 years ago.

We started believing our own hype and got arrogant, overconfident, disrespectful, and unlikeable. The bruins started to love the smell of their own farts and we became what others incorrectly labeled us as in the past.

I don't think it's a whole team or organization thing.
I cringe at Marchand's bullpoop, and of Lucic's too at times...not so much the handshake thing, just overall lack of maturity.
Thornton was a surprise, and he should know better because he is smarter than that.

To me, I think they thought if they turned it on they would roll over them, or anyone,..and in the past that has been true..this time, they didn't turn it on and it killed them.

Habs are very beatable, we played like complete garbage and it still went 7 games.

Make some moves as mentioned in the other thread. I am sure as hell not revamping the entire roster with midget pussies because we lost this series.

bruins didn't play well enough to blame it on the refs
the refs still sucked

Only thing that really bothered me were two horrendously bad calls just when B's were actually pulling their heads out and getting momentum in game 7. Coulda been a difference imo but still...

could have, yes
but
when you play with your head up your ass for 98% of the series you can't fall back on that

The B's dominated 75% of the serie at least. They did not play like garbage at all.
The Habs just wanted more, they blocked shots like hell, Price was very good (he won game 1 by himself, stop saying you deserved that game, he's part of the Habs and he beats you...), Habs played with more intensity.

Gforce, Reffs are part of the game and they were not responsable at all for any B's loss...
(PS I can't wait that they actually call all the P'ms, even if it means 10 P'M for B's and 1 for other team... If they deserve a P'm, give it, stop that sh!t of even for each team... that's BS).

bruinsbeer69, very honest post bud, respect you.
