You're on the good cold meds tonight, eh?

Hell yes. My fiancés cousin just got her wisdom teeth out. Sharing pain meds is very nice of her

Edit: I'm kidding

Hes a very good puck handler. I wouldn't mind having him as a backup to Mason. It would be the best puck handling duo in hockey

To be honest, my back is so bad, I could probably just get pain meds if I wanted them.

I still think like I'm in high school.

When I smoke a joint at my house, I think my parents are going to come home and catch me.

The NAACP is set to give Sterling a LifeTime Achievement award this year.

Anyone find that ironic?

Even after his past, they were going to do that. Guess the NAACP really does sell awards

There's this douchebag at my school. THE douchebag. You all know THE douchebag....like this is the guy that- if I could smite one person- I'd pick him without thinking.

Now, there's this professor at our school who's really getting the short end of the stick around here. She's been here for a few years researching, she's young, and just started teaching this year because one of the professors is retiring. Her molec class is fun, but hard (blame the material, not her), and she REALLY cares about us as students.

This is the professor that says "ok I'm seeing confused faces. Ask me questions!" or "I'm seeing confused faces, let me explain it a different way"....bottom line is that she DOESN'T kick the kids to the curb like 85% professors do- just motoring on and basically saying "oh well know it by exam time". She consistently sat outside our classroom at tables helping students with questions, on her own time, outside of office hours. She really loved teaching and cared about the success of her students.

The school didn't offer her a full time position for next year.

We as students got wind (me especially) and got PISSED. It was basically "Ok so we FINALLY get someone here who cares, and she doesn't even get hired. Unreal." We talked to her and she was going to take a position elsewhere but she really didn't want to leave at all and was upset at how she was treated.

Me and my friend started an online petition to keep her here.

We got the word out via email, facebook, etc, and Douchebag comments on the post on facebook with the link to the petition: "I lol'd"

Well, I checked the petition sigs yesterday, and he signed it. I lol'd, screencapped it, and posted it to facebook and called him out for everyone to see. It was great. He told me I liked attention and need to get a life. kthxbye bro.

We got 180+ signatures, sent it to the President of the school, the Dean of Students, the person in charge of the education, the person who is the head of the chem department, and to the professor.

Apparently, wheels are turning and the President is meeting with people. She might be extended a full time offer.

Our last class before the finals was on Friday, and she got choked up in front of the class, saying this was one of the greatest things anyone has done, and thanked us- at the very least (whether she comes back or not)- for validation that she is a good teacher, and she's pursuing the right career path (i.e. moving from research to primarily teaching).

She baked us all cookies that day as a thanks.

so the av's tying goal should have negated by a blatant hold and then a pretty blatant offside. tough break for the wild.
