You view things in very simple ways. I think thats why general stats are appealing to you.

Agreed

Having a backup for Grossmann and Schenn come playoff time is the reason they signed Gill in the first place

- BiggE

He has been strangely impressive in the games he has played.

Does nothing to help the mobility, but I've liked what I have seen.

CSN Philly - Flyers: Hal Gill primed to replace Grossmann in Game 5 http://www.csnphilly.com/...-replace-grossmann-game-5

Though Berube would not say that Gill was definitely “in,” Gill took all the shifts in practice Saturday at Skate Zone in Voorhees, N.J. with Streit.

Erik Gustafsson worked with others.

Also, Berube lauded Gill’s obvious qualifications. Like Grossmann, Gill is big, hits hard and blocks shots.

I hate to say but I will be rooting for the pens against Columbus. The flyers will beat the pens if they get through. Columbus is a team Philly has struggled with. Even if rangers win. No way pens beat them either. Go pens!

I just want the Pens out. I think it would be more humiliating for them to lose to Columbus than us. I want them humiliated.

You've got to be kidding me. You actually think Giroux is playing well?

giroux is getting battered away from the play almost constantly w/ no consequence

I missed it, where was the luck aspect? Was it the shut-down goal-tending from our starter? Timely scoring? Solid defensive play?

I understand not wanting to look like the happy-go-lucky fan that just praises everything the team does, but you're looking ridiculous with this Giroux-bashing. And now the Flyers were "lucky" to win? I'd love to see what differentiates a lucky win vs. an earned win.

that was a masterpiece by mason. (frank) that "luck" noise.....

Yeah they've been too passive. They play so much better when theytr fired up and Pissed off. When they play without emotions, they get dominated.

They were lucky to have mason steal the game. Mason wasn't lucky, he was brilliant.

Anyone know how many odd man rushes there were fir the Rangers?

and when they try to match physical play they get (frank)ed by the officials.....the pp's last night should have been 7-2 in favor of the home team....somehow the rags get 4 and we get 2....(frank)ing joke

rangers are good off the rush so they generate more chances. not too many clear odd-man rushes as i recall but i spent much of the game screaming at the (frank)sticks in the striped shirts

Yeah they've been very one sided. Brutal how much interference the rangers run on us.

not just this series.. In general in the playoffs.. Its been brutal.

This series, the thing that has bothered me the most is the blatant embellishment. Enough is enough.

i think it is slightly more godawful when you're getting out pp'd by roughly 2-1 thru 4 games
