Have you seen the teams he had to work with? He had a bad team each year and brought them to the playoffs. He is a great coach.

I guess u can't blame Trotz if he desires Pitts or LA. I mean 15 years coaching in a quiet so not hockey town with a team that has no offense, why wouldn't he be chomping at the bit to coach a team with Syd? Or why wouldn't he wanna coach in a sexy hockey city like LA?

It can happen but only if Shanny & Nonis make the effort to whoo him. Obviously they haven't by now so mabie they won't. Too bad, he's a great coach. No real offense ever in Nashville, yet the Preds were ALWAYS competetive. Unless the Preds go crazy & sign the best UFA forwards this summer, they will suffer majorly without Trotz, as they won't have his defensive system & yet they still don't have the offense.

Minnie would be a perfect fit for him. LA is too sexy for him. He'd be in way over his head with all that offense in Pitts. I doubt he wants the headaches of lousy teams & the insane media in Tor or Van. So yeah if he gets offered the Minnie job, he should take it.
