I wish you all could have experienced the drunk North Carolinian doing his "RAKING THE LEAVES" demonstration out front of the arena in Raleigh in 2003.

Can you imagine, irresponsible kids... The nerve of them. And why were they not on their computers, where this type of thing could never happen. Outside playing, crazy stuff.

What is this world coming to. That is like a robber getting caught and suing for it.

17-year-old bike enthusiast, was out with two buddies at around 1:30 a.m. on Oct. 28, 2012, when they hopped on their bicycles to go for hotdogs.

Oh yes.

A bunch of us rented a van and drove down on a whim. There was a huge group of Leaf fans, and the arena is in the middle of a big field, perfect for tailgaiting. We couldn't get tickets, but they had a big tent with beer and lots of screens, and we were getting into it with the locals, which prompted the 'raking the leaves demonstration'. They didn't even know about "1967" or "Plan the parade", so that was the best they had and their attempts were HILARIOUS.

Shortly after, I noticed people leaving the arena, ran up with a buddy and we bought both their stubs for $20 and got to watch the rest of the game in some sweet lower bowl seats.

Didn't read the link or know the circumsatnces, but don't discount the psychological trauma of a vehicular accident causing death on the driver, especially if they weren't at fault and couldn't avoid the accident. Definitely in poor taste, but in the states you can sue for just about anything these days.

'02 or '03. It was the conference finals vs CAR and they won the first game or two, then Sundin came back from injury and they barely scored a goal for the rest of the series.

It was an interesting trip - Vince Carter was just emerging as a hero in Canada at the time and the locals (he played college for NC) were warning me that he was a 'big soft baby' and we'd all be hating him in a couple years...

this is in ontario.. barrie i think

i get the trauma... and feel bad for the driver.. but come on.. the driver is going after the only people who are suffering worse than she is.

even the lawyer is like.. this is crazy.
