Abbott has been out with a shoulder injury since Apr. 4. It’s unclear if Abbott will be ready to go, however his original diagnosis had him out four weeks from the time of injury. - burn

the part that makes me cry is the players who were taken with the 2 picks we gave up. How much better would they look in the system then Biggs right now.

Seriously, can't beat us at winning, can't beat us at losing - Delta-Bravo
You know none of "us" are actually associated with either the Leafs or the Canucks right?
"Us" is the most ridiculously used fanboy term there is. Way to go. Your favourite team is worse than my favourite team. We both lose out - we don't get to cheer for our favourite teams in the playoffs. And when I say we, I mean you and I. Not me and the Leafs team, coaches, maangement, ticket takers, concession employees, etc. Geez - with 100% respect take your nonsense elsewhere. "We" the fans of the Leafs have bigger fish to fry than worry about a team that has never won anything anyway having a draft pick one spot earlier.
Now if you want to be constructive and talk about which new team President fires their coach first, I'm all ears. |

So Marlies got to pick if you want the first 3 games or last 3 games?
"There is a lot to account for when facing this team and this Friday and Saturday night in Milwaukee is almost the least of it. In a five game series in the AHL the travel budgets dictate that you can’t travel for just one game. So the series is a 2-3 that Toronto chose to start in Wisconsin and end at home. That means a swift start in suds city is critical."
or would it of been first 2 and Milwaukee got the last 3? |

Bozak is a first line centre on MOST NHL teams. Well rounded in most critical aspects of a centres game. He's proven himself beyond a doubt this season.
Boland deserves a one year $3 million bridge contract or less with loaded bonuses. Otherwise they can let him limp away.
Kadri is definitely a keeper unless they get an equivalent, slightly more experienced replacement + prospect OR top 2 defenseman. (Weber PLEASE GOD !!).
All others can go unless they will stay for cheap but better to sign FA, trade or replace from Marlies. There's obvious need for change but despite what the critics say, centre is the least of our worries. Change most/all lines 2-4 and entire defense and coaching staff goalie s are fine. - marklaprise
Sooo...it was McClement's and Holland's fault our centres sucked this year?

Schenn eventually worked out, need to make a Schenn/JVR trade with Biggs if he's not working out. |

Would assume each team gets atleast 1 home game so it would have been 2 in TO and 3 in mil if Marlies wanted start at home... |

Leafs traded 30th pick from Bos+ their 2nd (39th) to move up to 22nd. Leafs could have kept 30th + 39th and taken Jenner @ 30th and then Gibson or Saad at 39th.

Rackell and Gibson - senstroll
Both have already played well in the A and have started to contribute at the NHL level
The only silver lining is that if the Leafs kept these picks, they would have drafted busts. |

2-2-1
or
2-3 [home]
They chose the 2 - 3

Watching the playoffs this year, there is no way the Leafs would stand a chance against the likes of San Jose, Dallas, Boston, or even Detroit or LA, Columbus, Minnisota, Pittsburgh.............no way. We have a long way to go and could benefit big from the likes of Torres, Brown and a big centre. |
