If we sign Douglas Murray -- which, let's face it, is probably a more realistic scenario for Snow than Orpik -- it's gonna be like Brendan Witt all over again. At least the post-2008 version. - UIF
that would be a bad signing...he is way too slow |

Keeping two players and looking to move everyone else? That doesn't sound rash at all. - Isles_since_6
I didn't say I would move them but if the right deal came my way you have to.
LEts face it the bunch that we have right now for the past 5 years has not been really successful, so a change is needed |

Yeah but out of the 'bunch' we have right now, only a few of them have even been here for five years. Most of the impact kids are just arriving.
Naturally we can all say that 'anyone is tradeable' in an extremely broad way, but the ultimate question is how often does the right player become available that makes them worth trading for. In addition, is it a good trade.
In the case of Subban, most here agree that Strome, Reinhart or Pulock and a high pick is waaaay too much. |

Fleury has a limited movement clause in his contract....
I'm guessing that clause looks something like this:

Trust me. He fails during the playoffs which he is, the Pens will sign Ryan Miller since he lives close to there and Fleury will be traded for not much. Right up Garth alley. the way he is performing I don't know if a successful team would want to take a chance. So here comes the Isles with a big smile on their faces |

im not quite sure who you are referring to considering the only players that are still on this team from 5 years ago are bailey, okposo and neilsen |

http://en.wikipedia.org/w..._season#Player_statistics - LetsGoIsles
You missed Martinek but hey whatever. You know what I was saying though. Ok maybe the past 3 years or so. whatever still the same team over and over again. If you look at that roster how many of them are in the NHL still? Not many. Typical Islanders SON! |
