Noooooooooooooooooo. They figured him out too

They'll still get the 3rd, though; that's pretty decent return for a player who isn't in your plans and isn't guaranteed to be in a lineup.

its amazing how much that one game injected so much bitterness into me towards hockey in general. i cant even enjoy these games tonight right now.

Try being a Flyers fan

We can look like the 80's Oilers one game, and the 2014 Sabres the next.

true. i dont mean this in any way shape or form to be condescending. but even if you guys dont win another game this year, its still a pretty successful year. all of the young players took a big step forward. contracts will be coming off the books. the flyers arrow is only trending upwards.

this window is the pens chance. and windows have a way of closing all too quickly in this league. look at vancouver.

Oh, some are coming off... but my are they being replaced quickly with other... ahem... similarly generous deals.

And meh, don't see you guys going Vancouver's way, unless Shero inexplicably dumps Fleury and goes with a tandem of Zatkoff and Jarry next season, and/or he alienates Malkin by dangling him around like Kesler and then doesn't trade him.

i wish they wouldve gotten one more in that window, but its hard to fault them a ton.the only personnel decision made in that window that really bothered me was the dealing of lee at that time. the pieces were there. they just fell short in at least 2 years in which they had a legitimate shot. now theyre just paying the price for it.

the pens have the generations best player, and a close second. only one cup for them will be a crappier fate.

im very excited that you will no longer be paying your star center (frank)ing peanuts per year. although i must say, the dumping of fleury cannot be described in any way as inexplicable.

Agreed. If the Pens pull up short again this season, big changes are coming, and either Bylsma is out, or some current roster players are pulling on different jerseys next season. In my opinion, of course.

JC Erik JOhnson was terrible there. About 1:30 of 6 vs 4 time at the end of the game and he got his shot blocked by the high man 4 times! 4 times! Didn't get any through.

Ha! I don't blame you -- I've been sour for days/weeks/months /years about ridiculous losses.

I try to mature out of it, because at the end of.it, the players are human and they're just games. But yeah, sometimes a ridiculous loss can really piss people off.

Huh. If they hadn't already paid Weber a metric crap-ton, that is a trade.that works.for.both.
