Would they really put him in a dump like the Holiday Inn Stadium? I'd think that would be a violation of the CBA.

Hey I like that spot...although I had my passport stolen twice from the spot....but I do love the location.....was hoping they would build a hotel at xfinity to give me an option.

Looking at more then one stat, cannot remove the flaws of the data of Corsi. It's impossible. As much as they try and isolate the data to one player, it cannot be done. It's all about the data. Garbage in, garbage out. And I've illustrated repeatedly, over a long period of time, that I understand perfectly how the stats are misused, and are used in poor context.
- MJL

Except you really haven't, because not all the stats used are Corsi based.

The instances where you have tried to apply stats yourself have been ham handed and wrong at best, and you ignore that stats advocates readily admit that they show trends and are not the end all be all, and are just a tool to get a better and clearer picture of a player's performance.

The trouble is, it seems, rather than try to understand how you might be wrong about stats, you trash the manner in which they are collected and used because they don't support your opinion.

I'll take Corsi & Fenwick over an opinion that one can't validate with anything other than his own absolute certainty that he can't be wrong.

Somebody said he's at the Holiday Inn I think. I may have misread it though.

The hookers and blow were already there waiting for him. So that's nice.

No wonder Carter disappeared when he heard he was traded. Had to get all those goodbyes out of the way.

I've looked at them all extensively. I've looked at and read all that stats that pundits such as yourself have used. So to say that I haven't is simply false. And again, to say that I haven't validated my opinion with anything other then my own absolute certainty that I'm right, is also false. Because over the coarse of all the discussions of Corsi, and it's misuse in rating players and their performance, I've also provided numerous articles with opinions that support my stance on the misuse of a lot of analytics. And I'd be glad to do so again.

And to conclude, the conversation is going away from the statistics themselves, to being about the poster. Not interested in that. I'll be glad to continue to discuss the stats, and how I think they're flawed. And we'll see what I can validate. And you're free to point out how I'm wrong, and I welcome that. But not interested in any personal remarks such as made above.
