They gotta both (frank) off. If there really is a GM/Coach thing, they can't keep going the route of giving the GM a year or 2 with his own coach, then firing GM, keeping coach...then having new GM fire coach and hire his own for 2 years....and so on.

MacTavish turned Schroeder into a defensive player in the AHL, now he does not have the skill to play top 6 and too small to play bottom six.
