Nice to see that you're supporting the Bruins right now. They have to kill those fu cking Habs. Living in Eastern Ontario, it's hell around here, with all of the bullsh!t Habs fans giving the Leafs and Sens fans the business. Feel like burning down their houses, but they're all owned by the municipality. Bums!

After my Habs rant, I want to congratulate them for doing something at the trade deadline, to get them into the playoffs and into the second round. Our know nothing GM and his clown possie just let the team collapse, because they couldn't read the tea leaves. They should all be fired for being so inept. However, there's a bigger issue that needs to be addressed on this team.

Our biggest failure has been our scouting and player development. What did we get, in regards to help from our AHL affiliate this year? A couple of 4th line plugs? When was the last time that we drafted someone of consequence, in the first round? The last good player that I can think of, was Vincent Damphosee, in 1986. It's been a generational nightmare, in our scouting department.

When I see Detroit and Tampa continuing to be able to draft and develop players, you have to think that the Leafs scouting department needs to be gutted and a new breed of scout needs to start getting the players that we need to go forward. It's a disgrace! What are you going to do about it Brendan Shanahan?

Not sure I agree 100%. Burke made changes to our scouting department when he came in to improve it, so we will see in the next couple of years. Kadri was a good pick at number 7. Look at the players around him. Rielly is a homerun pick. Also, remember we gave up 2 first and a second for Kessel. So it is a little skewed.

If you actually look at what our draft picks have turned into, then it doesn't look too bad. Our picks got us Kessel, JVR, Kadri, Rielly, Bernier.

We're doing alright.

brown 6th round(an absolute steal) Johnson 7th round (really has risen in prospect rankings and represented well in the WJC) Herzog 5th (same as Johnson) Loov 7th( just signed a contract and projected to be an average defender) Ect....
