Me too. I have no issues with that.

However, I have this sneaky suspicion that Randy will just keep Phaneuf and Gunnarsson together, because he's off his (frank)ing rocker

Pretty simple changes they have to make I think. Start there. That takes Gards/Franson out on trade. Along with Reimer and Lupul, maybe even Kadri. I like having Kadri though.

Kessel-Bozak-JVR
Kane-Kadri-Moulson
Leivo-Fiddler-Clarkson
Komarov-McClement-Bodie

Lupul/Reimer/Gards/prospect to Peg for Kane.

Sign Moulson
Sign Fiddler
Sign Komarov
Re-sign Mcclement.

So Out:

Franson
Gardiner
Reimer
Raymond
Kulemin
Lupul

In:
Komarov
Kane
Moulson
Fiddler

Team died when he stopped playing them together actually.

Not buying that for a second. The team was long dead before that. Don't even try to argue that that is a better pairing than Phaneuf and Niskanen would be, I don't have time for that kind of nonsense today.

I'm ok with that lineup however I don't see Leivo as an NHLer. I'd rather Bolland who I think will be going no where.

You're on hear you've got lots of time for nonsense obviously. We were well in a playoff position until Gunnarsson had to be played less do to injury. Would I like Niskanen? Sure. Not sure he skates pretty enough bc that's the benchmark now.

Don't think we can afford him. Leivo can use his body on that line and can also chip in with some goals. Tough line to play against IMO. Would rather Ott at 3C but my guess is someone will pay him something stupid. Fiddler has that same attitude, provides some veteran presence and will come cheap.

I really dont think you can remove the C from Dion and keep him in the fold, but would be tough to move him as well. Ideally if you could slot him as the 2-3 guy you get much better production from him.

I know its not a popular opinion in here, but I think you need to move Gardiner, hes got all the offensive talent but cant defend at all. With Rielly in the fold you have that aspect of your D covered, Gardiner to me, is going to be what JM Liles was in Colorado, a defensively poor Offensive defenseman. I just dont think Gardiner will ever be able to put up the great numbers to overcome his porous defensive skills. Just my two cents.

You want to keep Bolland even though he may never skate like an NHLer again? Not to mention the inflated contract he's probably going to get somewhere.

LOL Hey, the proposed lineup we are discussing already has Gardiner out of it, so let's not keep kicking that dead horse.

Gunnarsson played with Phaneuf during the collapse, I don't know where you are getting your info. I am pretty sure they only split in the last few games of the season.

Just tell me now if you plan on trying to convince everyone that Gunnarsson-Phaneuf is a legitimate top pairing, and I will avoid discussing it further. I will not agree with that no matter what.

Will be a huge mistake to sign him. He will be a Band-Aid from now on. Reason why I'm sick of Lupul to.

A pass to a player that scores a goal is an obscure stat

this was what you posted in this thread

Give Franson a partner and he can play.
- honesthockey

since I posted some goals and assists stats you are now trying to tear him down because stats are bad.

you are such a guy who just takes opposite sides when you see something you dont like.

its sad

offense from the back end doesnt impress me all that much truthfully.

if a guy can play D, and pitch in on offense then I'm all for it.

but if a guy is weak in his own end his point production doesnt impress me at all.
