ROR is a superb model for what Patrick Roy wants in a player. There is no way ROR is leaving Colorado. No doubt the Avs will have cap problems in the future. But, ROR is a lifer as long as Roy remains behind the bench.

It's based on his expected contract demands. He has a habit of holding out, and I don't think this fall will be any different. If he was willing to take 2-3m I'd be fine with him staying, under a different coach. BTW...our system is loaded with guys ready to step in and bring what Franson brought.

He had a terrible year, but he was pretty good last year. To say he has no value is ridiculous...that's all I'm saying.

Kuemper put up great numbers playing with RNH and Dumba in front of him.
Gustafsson put up good numbers in the SEL (*note Salak did better and is no one special unless you're a KHL fan.)

Harding could hang up his skates any day randomly because of M.S. (a disease that effects over half of its victims vision at some point.)

And of course Bryz.
*Didnt bring up Backy because he hasn't been a difference maker in years.

I agree. every time i saw him on the powerplay id cringe and could almost bet there would be a short hander against coming

Their careers have also played out fairly similar in the sense that since Kuemper played a majority of the games in jr. The following two years he saw around 20-30 games and transitioned into the NHL in year 3.

Also Keumper somehow has 1 less playoff gp at 14 to Reimers 15.
