Reimer thinks he's a #1....Leafs need a guy that knows/understands his role...An experienced guy to backup Bernier the best choice...
An unproven at NHL level Drew Mac would be a better option than JR as he would know his job from day 1...A Backup to Bernier..
Prime example of what the leafs need is Budaj with the habs While not the most experienced(as a #1 in NHL) guy he damn well knows his role with the Habs and has been solid when called on......

We could package Reimer and Franson for something decent but why break up a promising d pairing that seems to have good chemistry in Rielly and Gardnier. The leafs should trade Riemer and Franson for something. Maybe we can make a deal for Evander kane but it would cost a bit more than Reimer and Franson, maybe throw in Lupul . I'd also like to have Byfuglien and maybe Riemer and Franson would be close to enough to get him instead. We then take advantage of the UFA market and 3 guys come to mind, Brooks Orpik, Andre Markov, Mat Niskinen and convince Komorov to return
