ek wants to get rid of twitter in toronto due to kessel issue

- Flyfreaky

Oh.... ...Pretty sure it would be easier to just get rid of Kessel...

Trade him to the Panthers and he cant fish during the intermissions..

LA needs a goalie, maybe they'll take Bernier back
- the_eye

This is where Reimer's status suddenly reverts back to starting goalie and Leafs, admitting their mistake, unwillingly yield to pressure and trade their long time number 1 away and we all cry because we've been left with a groinless Bernier who never was a true starting goalie.

Think they'll buy it?

Maybe the Leafs should hang onto JR?

What if Bernier re-injures himself?

Sparks, Drew - who will step in?

Gerber?

This is directly related to my last blog. Don't think as much blame belongs to Carlyle as people think....you've gotta wonder if anyone could have worked with that defense...they looked like a bunch of rooks....I suppose some were.
- Colin Dambrauskas

I'm sorry...but if you and others can't see the deficiencies in Carlyle's "system" then we'll never see eye to eye on this. He's a stubborn relic who refused to use the players to their best advantages. That's not saying the players are absolved of all blame, but athletes need to see some logic in the system or they eventually tune it out.

all of it was on jr?
Not a chance -

that defence was brutal as evidenced by Bernier as well
He didn't fare too well either

Leafs should get a canon like the BJ's to help fire up the crowd

He was doing fine until the LA game...He clearly wasn't 100% after coming back and ended up shut down...

JR sucked when needed....Pretty sure that suck can be replaced by someone else who isnt a headcase and doesn't expect to be the #1......

JR must go so Leaf fans can focus all their rage on just one goaltender (like Toskala and Raycroft before him).

no kidding. i said the other day, i think Ray Emery would be a great option for the Leafs. guy who will be OK with the backup role, but he's still pretty good insurance if Bernier gets worn down again. only downside is i'm pretty sure he will kill someone some day.

Reimer thinks he's a #1....Leafs need a guy that knows/understands his role...An experienced guy to backup Bernier the best choice...

An unproven at NHL level Drew Mac would be a better option than JR as he would know his job from day 1...A Backup to Bernier..

Prime example of what the leafs need is Budaj with the habs While not the most experienced(as a #1 in NHL) guy he damn well knows his role with the Habs and has been solid when called on......

How does a guy hold himself accountable in the off season. Playing in this media mad market, i would think it does a guy good to get the (frank) away. I dont see how that means he has no heart or passion for the team, which is the point i was arguing against in the original post. And sure he makes 8 milly, but hes still a dude
- TonkaPhaneuf

Never said heart or passion. Holding yourself accountable for the poop you say is pretty important as a professional.
