The entire series was won because of biased referees. Otherwise, there is no way the Habs win the series.
- hscesq

agree. officials also instructed the Lightning to concede the possession and shot battles to make it easier on Montreal.

this whole story line is damned funny

it makes no difference whatsoever

so much passion and energy going into a void of nothingness.

I told you officiating decides whatever series the Habs are in. Always does. Always will.

I would have been impressed if it were against Bishop. But since it was against a goalie who is tied for worst save% (tied with Dubnyk. Yah. That bad.) And a team that overachieved for half the season. Congrats, but it's a shallow victory.

Price will need to play the best hockey of his career.

Mtl always give his best vs Boston. They have a great team, but I don't know why you sould be so negative about the series (if it's Boston).

They should only have Refs from Toronto in the playoffs.

Marty will tell you why.

I believe you should change your location... I don't know but I find it doesn't carry the message you wish it would carry at the moment.

You were the better team than Tampa. Even without some questionable officiating the series was yours.

You better hope that Boston/Detroit is long though because a healthy Boston will be very difficult to handle and Marchand and Lucic will play dirtier than ever to get the win.

It will be a good second round series.

- riceroni

Boston are scary, but no matter what the year or who the players are, it's usually a close one between the Habs and the Bruins.

no matter what the circumstances, Boston will likely make quick work of Montreal.
- DoubleDown

Do you really believe that?
I don't. I wouldn't bet on Montreal beating them, but I wouldn't be so quick to discount it either.

Don't get me wrong. I picked the Bruins to win the Cup before the season started, and they emboldened their case as it progressed. I felt going into the playoffs that honor will belong to San Jose.

I have no doubt that Montreal will be Boston's greatest challenge. And I don't fully believe they'll overcome it. It will be a great series if it comes to pass.
