I actually think thats why we perceive the Leafs as getting unfavourable calls. I think ref's that are Leaf fans don't want to seem biased so they are actually MORE likely to "let the (other) team play" on questionable calls when they go against the Leafs and when a Leaf player makes a questionable call - they have to call it to AVOID seeming biased.

Probably happens to the Habs a lot too.

Refs really don't give a poop who wins a game. I'm sorry the Leafs get bad calls but it happens to every team.
